Ⅰ. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Daocrafts.com (the “Site”), an online platform dedicated to traditional Chinese culture, Traditional Dao Culture, Chinese-inspired clothing, cultural crafts, natural-material products, traditional craftsmanship, and classical Chinese aesthetics. By accessing, browsing, registering an account with, or purchasing products through the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

These Terms establish the basic rules governing your use of Daocrafts.com and are intended to provide a clear framework for accessing our website, viewing cultural content, purchasing products, submitting reviews, and interacting with our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site.

Ⅱ. ELIGIBILITY & USER ACCOUNT

(a) Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or have reached the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction, to independently create an account or place an order through Daocrafts.com.

Users under the applicable age of majority may use the Site only with appropriate parental or legal guardian supervision and consent.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for purchases made by minors with their authorization.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information supplied during the purchasing process is accurate and that you are legally permitted to enter into the transaction.

(a) Traditional Culture and Traditional Dao Culture

Daocrafts presents products and educational content inspired by Traditional Chinese Culture, Traditional Dao Culture, classical Chinese aesthetics, traditional clothing, historical craftsmanship, natural materials, cultural symbolism, and related forms of Chinese cultural heritage.

References to Dao culture, traditional Chinese symbols, classical patterns, historical clothing, Bagua, Yin-Yang imagery, natural materials, traditional craftsmanship, or other cultural elements are provided primarily for cultural, artistic, historical, educational, and aesthetic purposes. Such references should not automatically be interpreted as representing a religious service, religious instruction, supernatural claim, medical treatment, financial guarantee, or promise of a particular personal outcome.

Products inspired by Traditional Dao Culture may incorporate traditional motifs, historical design concepts, natural materials, symbolic patterns, or craftsmanship associated with Chinese cultural heritage. These elements are intended to preserve and present cultural aesthetics in a contemporary and accessible form.

(b) Product Appearance and Handmade Characteristics

Many Daocrafts products are influenced by traditional craftsmanship and may involve natural materials or handmade processes. Because of this, minor differences in color, texture, grain, shape, size, surface marks, or decorative details may occur between individual products.

Such variations are generally considered natural characteristics of handcrafted or naturally sourced products rather than manufacturing defects, provided that the product remains structurally sound and consistent with its published description.

Product photographs are intended to provide a general representation of the product. Actual colors may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions, photography equipment, screen settings, and the natural characteristics of the materials used.

(c) No Medical, Legal or Financial Advice

Daocrafts products, cultural descriptions, articles, educational materials, and website content are not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice.

Traditional cultural practices, historical references, clothing, jewelry, wood products, decorative objects, and other cultural crafts should not be used as substitutes for professional medical treatment, legal advice, financial planning, or other professional services.

(d) Materials and Safety

Gemstones and Metals: Certain jewelry or decorative products may contain natural stones, alloys, plating, or trace elements such as nickel. Customers with known material sensitivities should review product information carefully before purchasing.
Wood Products: Natural wood may display variations in grain, color, density, and surface texture. Customers should follow reasonable care instructions and applicable regulations concerning the use and transportation of natural materials.

Ⅳ. ORDER & PAYMENT TERMS

Pricing	Product prices are displayed in the applicable currency shown on the Site, with taxes, duties, or other applicable charges calculated or presented during checkout where required.
Payment	Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Daocrafts does not intentionally store complete payment-card information on its own website systems.
Order Confirmation	An order confirmation indicates that your order request has been received. Daocrafts reserves the right to cancel or decline an order in accordance with these Terms, product availability, pricing errors, payment issues, or other legitimate business reasons.
Custom Orders	Customized, personalized, engraved, specially prepared, or individually produced cultural products may have different cancellation and return conditions because they are made specifically for the customer.
Cancellations	Customers may request cancellation within 1 hour after placing an order. Once an order has entered processing, production, customization, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

(a) Product Availability

Daocrafts makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate product availability information. However, certain handmade, limited-production, natural-material, or seasonal products may become unavailable without prior notice.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable after purchase, Daocrafts may contact the customer regarding an alternative product, delayed fulfillment, partial refund, or full refund of the unavailable item, depending on the circumstances.

(b) Pricing Errors

Although Daocrafts makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions and prices are accurate, occasional typographical, technical, or system errors may occur. If a significant pricing error is identified before fulfillment, Daocrafts reserves the right to contact the customer and offer the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected order for a refund.

Ⅴ. SHIPPING, DELIVERY & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Shipping and delivery are governed primarily by the Daocrafts Shipping & Return Policy. Estimated delivery times are provided for general guidance and may vary according to destination, carrier schedules, customs procedures, weather, holidays, transportation conditions, and other circumstances outside Daocrafts’ reasonable control.

International customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and, where applicable, complying with local customs requirements. Import duties, customs charges, taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges may be imposed by local authorities and are generally the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Daocrafts is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, incomplete recipient information, customs inspections, government restrictions, carrier disruptions, natural disasters, or other events beyond reasonable control.

Ⅵ. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CULTURAL CONTENT

(a) Website Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the text, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, logos, page layouts, illustrations, original designs, videos, articles, and other materials appearing on Daocrafts.com are owned by or licensed to Daocrafts and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Traditional cultural symbols and historical motifs may have long-standing origins in Chinese cultural heritage and are not necessarily owned by Daocrafts. Daocrafts’ rights generally relate to its original product designs, photographs, written content, graphics, modern adaptations, arrangements, and other original creative materials.

(b) Traditional Chinese Cultural Symbols

Daocrafts may use or reference cultural elements such as Bagua, Yin-Yang patterns, traditional Chinese motifs, classical clothing forms, historical decorative patterns, natural imagery, and Traditional Dao Culture as part of its cultural and artistic presentation.

These references are intended to reflect Chinese cultural heritage, historical aesthetics, philosophical traditions, craftsmanship, and artistic design. Their inclusion on the Site does not necessarily indicate ownership of the underlying historical or cultural concepts.

(c) Restrictions

Users may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit Daocrafts’ original website content without prior written permission.
Product photography may not be copied or used for commercial advertising, marketplace listings, or competing websites without authorization.
Users may not systematically download or reproduce substantial portions of the Site for commercial purposes.

By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit the material and that your submission does not knowingly violate another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

You retain ownership of your original User Content. However, by voluntarily submitting content to Daocrafts, you grant Daocrafts a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, adapt, publish, and use the submitted content for website operation, product presentation, customer feedback, marketing, advertising, and related business purposes, subject to applicable law.

Ⅺ. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Daocrafts will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to customer inquiries within approximately 72 hours, although response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue, holidays, weekends, and the volume of customer requests.

(b) Formal Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved through reasonable customer-support communication, the parties may pursue the dispute-resolution procedures permitted or required under applicable law and any jurisdiction-specific provisions applicable to the transaction.

Where legally enforceable and expressly applicable to a particular transaction, disputes may be subject to individual arbitration under applicable commercial arbitration rules.
